Private Violin Lessons
Currently, I am accepting students of all ages and experiences both online and in-person. Lesson times and rates are customized for each student to ensure financial circumstances are not a barrier to quality music education.

Teaching Background
Alexis has gained teaching experience as a clinician for Cincinnati Public Schools, Strings Teacher for the Ben Carlson-Berne Scholarship Fund, and as Teaching Artist at MYCincinnati, an El Sistema inspired music program in Price Hill. She has instructed beginner, intermediate, and advanced ensembles as well as adult community orchestras.
As a woman of color, I am committed to diversifying the future of classical music through teaching and advocating for music education in Black and Latino communities. Whether a beginner or professional, exploring and playing new music, music written by women, and music written by BIPOC are all necessary for the development of well rounded musicians.
