Currently, Alexis is accepting students of all ages and experiences both online and in-person. Lesson times and rates are customized for each student to ensure financial circumstances are not a barrier to quality music education.

Teaching Background
Alexis is a Suzuki certified violin instructor with teaching experience at all ages and abilities. Previous teaching engagements include serving as a Strings Clinician for Cincinnati Public Schools, Strings Teacher for the Ben Carlson-Berne Scholarship Fund, and as a Teaching Artist at MYCincinnati, an El Sistema inspired music program in Price Hill.
As a woman of color, I am committed to diversifying the future of classical music through teaching and advocating for music education in Black and Latino communities. Whether a beginner or professional, exploring and playing new music, music written by women, and music written by BIPOC are all necessary for the development of well rounded musicians.
